I haven't been able to hit a dance class in almost a week and I going crazy! Been running instead to keep up the cardio. I did this run last Sunday. I was planning to leave a little before the rain started but when I got outside it was already pouring. I set out for 3 miles, but during the run I started thinking about my grampas and how they passed from heart disease. This prompted to me to keep going. So my 3 mile run turned into a 5 mile run all in the pouring rain and it was awesome! I love running in the rain. Scott got me to do some speed work last week, we go to a track and time ourselves doing 400 meters and 800 meters. I couldn't believe how sore I was for 3 days. Then I do a 5 mile run and no soreness. We did the speed work on the track again yesterday, no soreness yet. Using those fast twitch muscles are a whole different animal evidently.
Still looking for a job like crazy. Applying to everything and anything that peaks my interest. Better to have something than nothing at all. I got the opportunity to take a civil service test for the university as a cashier II job. 2 hour test for this. I have done these tests before and usually u end up in a room with 25 ppl testing for the same job. Must make an attempt though or I would be letting myself down.
My little dog is like Mr. Mague I swear! Sunday night on our walk she managed to scratch her eye. So now she's on antibiotics. She has done this at least 2-3 times in the past. Then last night everyone was going pee for the last time. She jumped off the couch and started screaming. She got some soft tissue injury from falling off the couch wrong. I gave her a baby asprin and held frozen peas on her arm lol I got her to stop shaking and panting. Of course this happens at 11 pm. She is not as pathetic today and putting a little weight on it. This is the dog that has eaten 2 bees.... I guess there will be no long dog walk today, if I take the other two she will probably get so upset and try to come and can barely walk.
