So as promised in my status earlier, I am writing a recap blog from the weekend.

Good day... knew I was going out after work for a couple of glasses of wine, so I budgeted cals for that day when I tracked. I got to talk to my boss about my interview (she came out with us), ANNNND there is a possibility that I am actually MOVING stores and getting a full-time spot I didn't even interview for!! Crazy, huh?

Didn't have to work surprisingly, so I got my workout in and tracked food per usual. Then when Nate got off work, we packed picnic foods and went out to Honeymoon Island (it's a local state park) and ate dinner and watched the sunset. Cheesy. Yes. Fun. Definitely!

Went to work, but I didn't get to eat dinner until about 7:30 because I went in at 3, so I didn't get a break for only working 4 hours. I hate when that happens, but there wasn't much I could do :( Nate wanted to go for froyo when I got home, so I had dinner, and then we actually decided to bike to the froyo place! It was about 3 miles round trip, so not really a huge calorie burner there, but it was still good to get some form of additional exercise with our treat :)

Worked a pretty long shift and once again, didn't have a well-timed break so by the time I got home it was close to 8pm. I don't know WHAT happened, but I desperately wanted something terrible for me. I wanted deep fried and oh so yummy. Soooo we went to Wing House. First of all, service was terrible and we almost left, but the manager convinced us to stay by giving us a free appetizer. Which were jalepeno poppers (omg... yum). And I had a chicken tender wrap for my main course. And 2 glasses of white sangria. Best decision ever? Heck no. Did I regret it? Oddly enough, no. It isn't like I crave that all of the time or eat even CLOSE to that any of the time; doesn't justify it either, but there's really no use being upset about it!

Tracked normally, and had a bra certification training at another store in our district. On my way home, I stopped for a salad at Panera since I had $2 off. When I got back I fell asleep for close to 2 hours and then talked to one of my recently married friends. By this point it was pushing 10pm and I still hadn't worked out. In the end, I got my butt up and put in my Fire 55 dvd (TURBO FIRE!) and got through it and felt mucho better!!

I really have NOT felt like tracking today even a little bit. I'm glad I took time the last couple of weeks to, but it was also nice to take a day off. With tracking, I can more easily eyeball what serving sizes are now, and when I make sandwiches or omelets, I know the average calorie count based on the ones I have made in the past. I pushed myself pretty hard during Fire 45 tonight, so I'll probably have some kind of snack later when Nate gets home from school.

Until then, I am going to drink my water and watch Food Network.

Quote of the Day:
Watch the sunrise at least once a year.
Put a lot of marshmallows in your hot chocolate.
Lie on your back and look at the stars.
Never buy a coffee table you can't put your feet on.
Never pass up a chance to jump on a trampoline.
Don't overlook life's small joys while searching for the big ones.

Sounds like you know your way, and can fit in some chicken wings, and healthy choices as well.

And great reflection of your week.
What is your take away looking back to it?

Sounds like a good few days you had. Way to push through on the workout on Tuesday! That is some dedication! As far as not tracking goes, I think we all have days where we just need a break. It is like a nice little reset. Gotta keep up that mental health as well! Love the quote too! "Don't overlook life's small joys while searching for the big ones" So true...
