Time to Finish What I Started

Wednesday, May 29, 2013

I have really been struggling the past year on losing more weight. Lots of changes in life really affect my nutrition and exercise. How do you keep you mindset straight and stay committed and motivated to continue. I used to work out everyday 5:00 am, but the coaches I were working with broke my trust and then things just started to fizzle from there. I have maintained what I lost within 5 - 10 pounds, but I so want to get to my initial goal of 200 pounds. I have not seen that number on my scale in over 20 years. I am hoping that by joining Sparkpeople that I will meet some friends who will help to hold me accountable. I am ready! Let's see what I can do!!!

You have done a great job in losing already and you look terrific. Keep up the great work, and don't give up. emoticon emoticon

Great job on the initial loss! Also, great job on maintaining that loss! I've read that it's harder to maintain than to lose, so at least you have some great practice with that.

One of the best SparkTeams I have found is the "Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line".

Team Description: Here members will experience accountability as they team up with another person to motivate, encourage and challenge on a weekly basis.

Best wishes on your health journey! emoticon
