Struggling, but not defeated

Wednesday, May 29, 2013

I have been having a lot of pain with my joints. It could be that there are just a lot of storms in the air, emoticon emoticon or just my arthritis popping up.

Also been getting a lot of articles about pain from Spark People about how to deal with pain.

One way is to continue to MOVE. I have been trying to do that. It will just be what I have to do.

Tired, that too.

But I got up and went to Curves early this morning. Got weighed in and lost 1.25 lbs by their scale. Just keep it going down.

I came home and set up my menu for the week on line and then went shopping for groceries.
Got in some heavy walking at the grocery store (two big box stores and did extra walking up and down the lanes.) emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I will be down again next week. I am convinced. Cheer me on.

emoticon Glad to hear you're still moving downward!!

I know what you mean about working through the pain. I've been back on the Celebrex these last 2 weeks or so. Pain in the hip, leg, and knees. I think it just comes with the territory now. Can you tell any difference when you eat more sugar? I'm wondering if it contributes to making life less comfortable!

Keep up the good work! emoticon

Great job! It's all about persevering -- and you're doing it! The storms are rough on me, too. That's why I'm up at 4:00. My ears are ringing like crazy. Keep moving and keep losing!
