This week marked three years since I found SP and started my journey to a healthier lifestyle. I had lost 50 lbs., put 10 back on and now have a total weight loss of 52.5 lbs. My goal now is to toss a total of 58-60 lbs. to the curb....that's my way of saying losing the weight and not finding it again.
This journey still amazes me. Learning how to eat and exercise so I don't feel like I'm on a diet or burning myself out with exercises that I just don't like to do. I'm happy with my progress. I still have ups and downs, like everyone else, but I'm learning how to cope without using food as my comfort zone. I love using portion control and tracking my food. I plan my menu in the morning so I know just what I can or cannot have through out the day. Of course there is always wiggle room. None of my menus are set in stone, but my determination to stay healthy is. I live by the rule "one day at a time".....if I had a bad day I let it go before I fall asleep and start again the next day.
Life is good and I have many dear Spark friends to thank for that....I start and sometimes end my day with you.
Let's continue this journey together: we are all on different roads, but we are all moving forward.
