I was working yesterday… The bum called me, while I was at work wanting to see if we can go out again this weekend coming… I refuse, stating I have plans already made and I don’t want to talk anymore.
I told my buddy Pepe about what happened… Pepe’s choice of words can’t be repeated here… Basically, what he said was ditch the bum. Cyndy, there are a lot better guys in the world than him.
Now, Pepe struck a nerve… Rather than yell and scream at him about the list of bums and losers that I have spoken with since my husband’s passing….. I opt instead to help him win concert tickets for his favorite singer George Strait.
Dear Radio Station,
Good Evening. I have a birthday request for my friend, not for me. My friend, Pepe, is a truly amazing person and a father to two young ladies, which are his world! He is a wonderful guy, amazing friend, devoted to God, hard worker, and proud father. We, as friends, have been through heaven and hell together. He supported me during the loss of my husband, almost three years ago. I have helped bring him encouragement and support after a few bad relationships. No matter what is going on in our lives, we encourage each other to be stronger in our faith, to be healthier people both inside and out, to motivate each other after facing hurdles in our lives and to continue fighting for what we want from life. Pepe is one of those great guys, which would give you the shirt off his back if it were to make you happy.
My birthday request this year is not for me, but for Pepe. I would like for him and his two daughters to receive tickets to the George Strait concert. By making this one tiny birthday wish of mine possible, would bring happiness to his two daughters. They really need a ‘Father and Daughters’ day to enjoy. I hope you would consider this small request.
Thank you for your time.
I made poor Pepe cry….. We still have no word from the radio station… Oh well, it was worth a shot…
I have been busy today, planning my courses. I found the best way to graduate quicker…
I’m waiting for the new SU catalog to come out… I feel like the Target lady standing at the door, saying, “Open. Open. Open.” Lol… Sorry, can’t help it…
I plan on buying my parents several storage shelves in July. My big project for this Summer is to revamp the garage into a functional space, instead of it being a hap-hazard thing to get through…
