I started Sparkpeople agian on Jan 13th 2013, I just hit over 40 Lb gone. My pant size dropped from 50 to 44 and I have more energy. My goal is lose 100 lb with in the year and I am on track. with the tracking tools of spark people it opened my eyes as to what a healthy balanced day of food should look like. I do have the odd item that is off the menu so to say but all in moderation. Thank you sparkpeople !!

    Wow, good for you! Forty pounds is a big deal.... I wish you lots of luck on this journey. I can't wait till I can say it but just like the person who posted before slow and steady that is how I am looking at it.

    That is a very attainable, realistic goal. You are very smart to not want to "lose the weight tomorrow". Slow and steady is the way to go!! That way you are not depriving yourself and it will be easier to avoid binges and overeating. Keep tracking.... it reall helps!! Good luck on your journey!! emoticon
