Week 4 at May 22 -29 prices

A very strange month. I somehow ended up spending less than $110. I went back and double checked my protein, and it’s right. I didn’t double check all of it, though.

Anyway, here’s the last week at May 22 – 29 prices.

Day 22 -
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – salad of chicken, celery, egg, mayo, sunflower seeds
Supper – BBQ chicken leg quarter, Fauxtato Salad

Day 23 -
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – Chicken Soup, celery with cream cheese
Supper – Pumpkin, Spinach & Hamburger Casserole; lettuce with dressing

Day 24 – (Memorial Day)
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – Chicken Soup, lettuce, dressing, cheddar cheese
Supper – BBQ pork ribs, Fauxtato Salad, carrot and sunflower seed salad

Day 25 -
Breakfast – cottage cheese, flax, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – salad of bbq pork, cauliflower, onion, mayo, mustard
Supper – roasted chicken leg, Broccoli Casserole

Day 26 -
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – salad of chicken, celery, mayo, egg, sunflower seeds
Supper – Hamburger Barley Soup

Day 27 -
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – Chicken Soup, sour cream, lettuce, dressing
Supper – BBQ pork ribs, coleslaw

Day 28 -
Breakfast – yogurt, flax, sunflower seeds, half and half, cinnamon, strawberries
Lunch – Chicken Soup, celery, cream cheese
Supper – jumbo franks, coleslaw

I’m intrigued with the idea of trying to spend zilch on food one week, as in The $21 Challenge. Though they give you up to $21 to spend. Anyway, I thought I’d see if I could get through the whole week without buying anything. I could have, but I caved and bought another pound of strawberries. The Chicken Soup is something I concocted from what I had on hand. It sounds pretty good, actually.

Average calories were 1820 per day, fat was 131 grams, protein 101 grams, total carbs 60 grams, fiber 19 grams, net carbs averaged 41 per day.
