The past holiday wasn't the best for exercise or food. Running a business that involves tourist trade made the holiday hard to manage. I had take out a few times and didn't exercise enough. On the plus side, the shop did really well and it was a good weekend.
I didn't let it slow me down however. I tried to make good choices and with the nutrition tracker I knew where I was screwing up. I am also back on track with a grocery store shop for healthy snacks (ran out of fruit) and well planned meals.
Exercise was also lighter this past weekend. There was movement around the shop, but I was pretty much stuck at the counter. But I've already done 1.3 miles with the dogs this morning and got back just before the rain started. I plan on trying resistance bands today.
I know it was the way holidays are going to be around here. Next time I need to plan better meals to take to work and maybe have an extra something frozen in the freezer at work. Why didn't I think of that before! Never thought to take a meal into freezer at work! Wow - thanks blog!
