I've committed to losing 28lb before trying to get pregnant again. I was really fit and healthy during my first pregnancy and I had a great pregnancy and childbirth. I want to give myself the best chance of a healthy pregnancy the second time around!
I already exercise regularly, but I'm going to be cutting calories, making better food choices and trying to increase my exercise a bit in order to achieve my goal.
In terms of exercise, I'm going to be doing a variety of different things - a good mixture of weights and cardio. I have various Beachbody DVDs (Insanity, P90X, Turbo Jam, Chalean Extreme) and I'm a big fan, but I won't be sticking exactly to any one plan because as the mother of a toddler, sometimes I have to just squeeze in what I can when I can!
