This goes out to all our service men & women who didn't make it home and those still serving. We appreciate all you did & do for our country. Blessings to you one and all!
Today it is a nice 85 degrees here in Anaheim. The sun is out and there is a slight breeze. Couldn't ask for a nicer day to celebrate. I wanted get up and walk down the street to our local cemetary where they have a celebration every year. I was a bit sore this morning and didn't go. Could hear the music from our back porch. WE have my husbands father buried there, he served in the Navy in WW2. Right next to him is my mother in law and sister in law who died in 1997. I will get over there later today since I am feeling better now.
Where would we be without our soldiers. God Bless each and every one of them, alive and past. So glad that our country has a designated day in their honor. It is an impressive sight, seeing all the flags on the graves in Arlington National Cemetary and other military cemetaries in the US. 1732 days ago
