Not feeling the love...feel the muscles

Monday, May 27, 2013

The other day I was scheduled to work out with my trainer, got to the gym with just enough time to change & meet her. She had just finished teaching a water zumba class and I told her I would change & meet her on the floor. Apparently she didn't hear me, and forgotten that we were scheduled for this date (we meet twice a month). I waited and waited and finally 15 past our start time I checked out the locker room and she was nowhere to be seen.

So went out to the car & phoned her leaving a message, that I wasn't feeling the love...She phoned later to apologize profusely. She asked if I had worked out...Of Course! But I do have a better workout when she's there since she pushes me.

I know she felt bbad, I actually thought it was comical, she not like that to forget. oh well, keep on moving. emoticon

Have a thoughtful Memorial day.

The grace of forgiveness that allows mistakes like these to heal quickly!
Understanding allows us the empathetically view another's trouble that takes the sting away and allows us not to feel personally attacked while realizing that we have done similar things in the past as well. It's the simple act of admitting that we are human.
The bold step to unveil the issue allows for the offense to be corrected and like iron sharpening iron, it helps the offender to stay sharp and aware of the need to stay focused in the future.
Being clam and handling the problem with composure and flexibility allows the offended to make the most of the circumstance while not making a mountain out of a mole hill!

You did great to do as you did and it reveals the character of a confident, kind and understanding person. Your coach has done well to partner with a great friend!
Feel the love, feel the muscle of a warm heart that has grace that flows from within. Remember you are never alone and witness this truth by love that lives inside you!

See the opportunity for another session and the blessings that comes when an offense is dealt with well and both parties realize the true character of the other! It's like a veil being removed!

Be blessed and keep up the good work!
