Okay - I am preparing for my Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Summer 2013 Challenge - starting on June 7th. I have been cutting back on my 4 cup of coffee/day intake -- I have been down to two cups of coffee/no tea for two days now, but it has been the weekend. The true test will come tomorrow and the rest of the week as I get up at 4am to get my morning workout in before heading to the office.
Now, why am I cutting out alcohol for 98 days? Well, the Summer Challenge is a 98 day challenge. I want to loose body fat and weight (still calculating the exact amount). I know that overtime I drink alcohol -- usually two drinks on the days I enjoy a glass of wine or beer - I gain weight. I also know that alcohol prevents me from getting a good night sleep. Now, if I am cutting out caffeine, I REALLY need to get my sleep. So, I have to stop consuming the alcohol so that I can get my good night sleep which will help me stay off the caffeine which will keep me more relaxed (less anxious and stressed) which will keep me from the alcohol after work which will result in my losing the weight I want to lose. Wow! I could create a little circular wheel diagram to show how alcohol causes all kinds of problems in my life -- keeping my from my goals.
Okay -- still cutting back on caffeine, NO ALCOHOL for 98 DAYS, better rest, slowly losing the body fat/weight that I have been trying to do without success for quite some time now!!
Here I go!!
