I just did the 5K yesterday and yet I rested most of the day today and just had to get on the TM tonight. I did a 4 mile training run with 0.24 mile warm up & cool down. After a week plus of being quite under the weather, it was really hard, but I got up and made it happen.
My biggest thing to doing a 10K at this point is getting my endurance for longer runs up I think. I plan to run one sometime after September. I am looking at one in November that will benefit the local food bank, something hubby and I have long supported.
My training will be rather off the next few weeks since I will be off doing Army things.
