Wheat free experiment

After seeing mr. davis who wrote the book Wheat Belly, on the doctor Oz show, I have decided to try going wheat free for 4 weeks.
Let's see if that moves any of the fat off me. I seem to fit the profile mentioned in his book and I will make it a permanent change if I loose the hip and foot pain in the process.

    It seems hard for the first little bit then you don't miss it. I went wheat free last fall and my wheat belly took about a month to reduce. You can make a lot of things with non gluten flour. I buy a variety of flours and mix them up . I love coconut flour. I found the most missed things for me are crackers (which I either make myself or buy gf). I was using pearl barley to replace pasta occasionally but discovered it is too close to wheat for me (too bad as it was really good as 'mac' and cheese). Quinoa flakes are great for 'breading' things.
