...for a change. Ran some errands early this morning and am now tucked at home until Tuesday morning. Taking some me time since I work the next two Saturdays, maybe three - I can't remember.
John spent Saturday here but he is in Boston today on his own. He's gotten so used to me working on weekends that sometimes he doesn't bother to ask me to go with him. Mixed feelings - I'd love to have spent the day with him...yet I'm happy to have today & tomorrow to myself to do with as I please. Don't have many of those days.
He was responsible for Saturday's breakfast and I actually cooked for us for a change...and cooked some food for the week today. Just waiting for the broccoli & cauliflower to defrost and I will bake them together in a casserole. Then I'm done with cooking. It felt so good to cook again. I'm usually so exhausted from long work hours that I usually just grab something quick. Looking forward to having healthy food most of the week.
Lesson from Saturday - As I checked off my "Other Goals" for tracking, I realized I fall down "on the job" on Saturdays. Not sure if it is because John is here and I feel the need to spend most of my time with him and off the computer or just that my brain gives me Saturday off. Will have to see if it is different when I work on weekends.

2. Visit my 3 teams - 2 down, 1 to go
3. Track nutrition & analyze - done for yesterday
1. A day with Gracie & Katie, even if they are sleeping
2. Errands done - even though I tried to talk myself out of running them
3. Cooked for the week!
4. I can do whatever I want today.
5. G-d Who blesses this day...as He does all the others
