Thank You And Happy Memorial Day
Sunday, May 26, 2013
Thank you. Thank you to all the current and retired, and deceased members of the United States military. Thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you safeguarding the ideas of freedom and liberty against those that would see it undone. Thank you to The United States Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard, The Army National Guard, and all reservists across each service.
Thank you to the men who died on the beaches of Normandy, Battleship Row in Pearl Harbor, The Frozen Chosin in Korea, the rice paddies of Vietnam, and among the sand and rocks of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Thank you to my dad (armored) and my Uncle Sonny (helicopter maintenance) for their service in the National guard. Thank you to my Uncle Sam for serving in World War II and being involved in the Normandy Invasion. Thank you to my mom, who did not service in the military, but worked for 30 years as a civilian for the Air Force (as did my dad after his National Guard service was up)
Take a few seconds out of your weekend to say thanks to a member of the military, current or retired. It may not seem like a big deal to you but a simple thank you to a member of the military could make their day.
And once you've done that you can celebrate the real reason for this holiday weekend. Mattress and tire sales. 40% off a serta mattress and half off tires at Crazy Chucks Used Tire Barn. Count me in, i'm so there
