I challenged myself a few years ago to learn to cook foods from the produce and meat sections of the grocery store. I joined a CSA in my area that sent me a box of whatever they were harvesting each week. Some of the things in the boxes I had never even heard of, nevermind ever cooked before. Fortunately, the farm was also good enough to put cooking and serving suggestions on their website. It turned out to be quite the adventure and my family and I all learned to eat - and even enjoy - foods we'd never seen before. Who knew my family could learn to eat chard and baby bok choy?
