I decided after sitting down and thinking about it that I am going to not weigh myself everyday. I will weigh in on Wednesdays only. I don't want to get discouraged and quit. I have been staying in my target for calories and trying to do exercise.....none yesterday...........but I am going to do something today along with the 70 squats I need to do for the 30 day squat challenge. I am going to try to watch my food a little more careful today..........breakfast is going to be pancakes and sausage..............lunch is the question but most likely tuna salad with a little bit of mayo on bread with one slice of cheese and dinner today is still up in the air but I am grocery shopping today so I am sure I can find something healthy to buy...........tomorrow for the holiday is corn on the cob and chicken so I am planning ahead................I already feel like I have more energy with eating right even though I am not sure if I lost any weight.................

That's a good decision. I can speak from experience when I say that weighing every day can really mess with your head. There are always going to be small fluctuations in your weight from day to day and it's hard to take those days when you see the scale go up.

Sounds like you've got a good plan to get through the holiday, and deal with weigh in stress. Just keep focusing on today. The weight will take care of itself.

I used to weigh every day when I started Spark. It caused me a lot of unneeded stress. I got in the habit of weighing in on Wednesdays during BLC21, with a sneak peak on Sundays. I weighed this morning and found the scale had gone up 5 lbs since Wednesday. Now, I know I've been eating right and exercising, so there's no way I've gained 5 lbs of fat. I just chalked it up to water weight - no big deal. I've got 3 days of healthy eating, flushing with water, and exercise before weigh in Wednesday. I've done 30 minutes of cardio and 24 minutes of ST this morning and feel good. I've planned out my meals for the day and am really close to 1200 calories (my lower limit). I'm just gonna keep doing the right things, loving myself and the water weight will take care of itself.

It sounds like you're doing all the right things. Don't worry about it. Stress isn't good for weight loss. Stick to your plan and you'll be fine! Have a great Memorial Day!
