The Numbers are in!!!!

I weigh in on Sunday mornings and the numbers are in. My measurements didn't change much, but my weight sure did! I am down to 216.3!!!!!!!!! (Insert personal Dance Party here)

There are several reasons this is a huge deal for me. Okay let's face it every ounce we Spark People lose is a victory. It's the education and skills we are learning in action. It is out tedious logging, tracking, point racking, measuring, and planning paying off and that's a celebration. I also have a few other reasons I am really excited. I had started using sparkpeople in January of 2012. I loved it I went from 245 to 217.4 by July. Then I was in a difficult relationship, my friends kind of abandoned me through it, I hit a plateau and thing went down hill. I end up gaining all but 10 pounds back. So being 216.3 is officially the smallest I've been in awhile. It's also past the place I got stuck plateau wise as well as emotional wise last summer. I am really proud of myself. I haven't even gone to the gym yet. This focusing on little habits and little goals is the best thing for me. I'd like to get back to the gym schedule I had, but I'm not there yet and my pedometer is a miracle worker, so I'll just get there when I'm ready, but I'm doing great and I'm making progress and today I'm celebrating me!

I am going into the summer with a smaller me! I am going to end the summer hopefully out of the 200s but if I don't do it then I'll do it soon!

Today I'm having a BBQ the menu is burgers, pasta salad, tomato salad, veggies and low fat dips, and brownies with Sundae toppings. I didn't make the pasta salad so I'll see what's in it, but I plan on loading up on those veggies. I bought light ice cream. I bought two brownie mixes (I know it's cheating, but I have so much other stuff to make) I'm making one pan with applesauce instead of oil and adding flaxseed to it. I'm making the other the regular way just cause some people don't want "diet food" Oh and I bought the whole wheat buns and vegetarian baked beans. Which means this morning/afternoon is a very basic morning with lots of water!
