I think this epidural worked better than the first one. I have no residual effects from riding JC yesterday. My neck and shoulders feel absolutely fine. As a matter of fact, I was able to walk Summer today pulling and all for two walks. Then, I played frisbee with my daughter. Summer didn't know what a frisbee was, but she learned quickly. A week ago, there is no way I could have grabbed for that frisbee.
I didn't realize how many calories one burns playing that. I needed to burn them. We had pizza and lasagna for dinner tonight. I didn't eat a ton of it, but I still wanted to burn off the calories.
I feel good that I am strong enough to do these walks and play with the dogs and my kids and not get winded. I am thinking about trying the resistance band again. My back doc told me not to because of my shoulders. But, if the epidural works, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't. I will give it a little more time.
I am just grateful that all that pain is minimal at best. My mid back is still sore, but that could be a whole different thing. Will have to wait and see.
