Used the Nutrition Tracker for Once.

So I used it today. I felt like I ate really well today, but apparently my sodium is out of control. It's gotten to 4,000+ and I'm not even finished tracking. (Going to have yogurt and popcorn later because saturday is movie night where me and my son pick a dvd and watch it together while sometimes having a snack.) My son is only 5, so we get all snuggled up together while watching a movie. (I think he wants to watch Spiderman again tonight. We watched that last week too. I strongly dislike hero movies... but I'll watch it for him, lol.) Its a really great bonding experience. emoticon

I'm not sure if the sodium level thing is accurate though, because there are 2 different sodium tracking things on my tracker for whatever reason, and the other one says I'm more around 1700 I think.

That's so weird.

I haven't met any of the main nutrient goals (cals, fat, protein, etc.) but I probably will meet a couple of them after I add the other two things. I probably won't meet the calorie goal, which kind of shocked me (because I thought I overate all the time).

My mom's friend is here. She bought pizza. My sister got a slice (even though I advised her not to, since we're on a 30 day challenge together). I didn't get a slice. emoticon
Then, just to tease her, I was like "I'm glad this isn't a race, because you have zero power to say no." She was like "I would still win!"
Yeah, sure. -_-

She kept trying to make me split the slice with her, and even though I wanted a bite, I refused. I've been doing good and don't want to sabotage myself.

I also worked out for about 76 minutes today. Same workout I wrote in my last blog plus 5 extra minutes of bicep curls with weights.

My weigh in is tomorrow. I've had a crazy week, weight loss-wise. I'm excited. Currently watching youtube vids and drinking the rest of my daily amount of water. emoticon

    tracking saves my bacon all the time. I am forever underestimating the "cost" of food choices. By pre-planning using the tracker, I do SO much better at hitting the nutrition goals that I know are best for my body. Go for your challenge!

  I love the tracking here. I am devoted to it.

And really there is nothing wrong with a SLICE of pizza. The trick is to only eat a slice or two and not eat the whole pizza!! Seriously, put that slice in the tracker and enjoy it!!

I used to wonder how people could have birthday cake in their nutrition tracker but it is possible. Just eat a salad for lunch and eat other meals in moderation etc.. it is all good.

This is a LIFESTYLE change, not a DIET. Don't deprive yourself of things you will go back to doing later after the 30 day challenge is over. Enjoy the foods you want to enjoy, just do it responsibly.

Enjoy your Spider Man movie.

For me tonight, hubby is out which means my 7 year old daughter will sleep in my room. It is OUR Saturday night thing. We will probably watch a dvd too, although definitely not SpiderMan. LOL!
