Wk 111 Weigh In

Saturday, May 25, 2013

This week went by quite a bit faster than the last three weeks. Not having to go to work at a very boring job made time fly by a little bit faster :)

I did alright this week, I didn't get in very much gym time but I did get some school work worked on so that's a plus. I ended up with a small loss for the week, but it could have been more if I hadn't snacked too much or had too many Frappuccinos. But with my new found freedom, everything tasted better than it used to. Those 3 weeks I spent as an indentured servant was almost like going to prison, if prison was 8-5, Monday to Friday and you had to dress professionally. It's funny how fast a bad job can drag you down, I literally felt like a man walking out of prison last Friday at 5 o'clock. (there's a hint of sarcasm in that whole paragraph, I would never actually equate a bad job to being in prison. You can't get a tattoo at a bad job!)

Anyway, let's look at the numbers for the week.

Weight : 210.6
Lost : 0.6
Total : 106.6

So just a small loss of 0.6, but still a loss, still moving in the right direction!

I hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend. Take a few moments to reflect on what the weekend is all about.

Congrats on managing to lose a little bit more -- it may be a small step but it is in the right direction!

Enjoy your long weekend, and while you're celebrating your holiday you should celebrate how well you've done so far too...minus the frappuccinos ;)

That's more than a half pound down with snacking and fraps! Way to go and wouldn't that be something if people went to prison from 9 to 5?

Congratulations on your weight loss this week and on being a free man. I have never tasted a frappuccino-afraid it would become a new addiction which I don't need!

    Great work --free at last!!!!

Have a great Memorial Day I know you will be thinking of the forces still out in the world doing their bit and those who gave their lives in other conflicts.

The world seems to be upside down these days. Governments giving away more money than they spend on their own, allowing the 'bad' people more help than the citizens. It is a depressing time. But we can live in hope for the better to return.
