Organization of my closet - with pictures

Saturday, May 25, 2013

I took out my summer clothes and put away my winter clothes. In the process I realized that with my weight loss some of my clothes were just too big now. I came up with three small bags to donate to charity.

Here are pics of my new closet. (the box on the shelf are my wedding shoes, married 33 yrs in Nov, which my daughter told me to keep.

My husband installed theses hooks that I got so I could hang all my scarves in the back:

And I have held on to a white snap down sweat shirt that was my mother's since her death in Nov 2007. I decided to finally get rid of it, and had my husband take my picture wearing it"

Making changes when you loose weight is not always hard to do.

Wow! What fun! I'm organizing my sewing room from the inside out right now and to me it is great fun. I lost a pattern in the mess and that motivated me to get busy.

It looks so nice and organized. I'm glad you can't see the mess in mine--winter and summer mixed, shoes everywhere!! You inspire me to do something about it.

And congrats on the weight loss. It begins to seem real when you can give away things that no longer fit.

Keep up the good work!! emoticon
