Today's weigh-in was very disappointing - not only have I not lost weight, but I've actually gained some. This seems very unfair because I've worked hard at staying within my calorie range ALL WEEK! - a big achievement for me.

However, I'm learning (albeit very slowly) so I'm not going to throw a tantrum and give up. I know that the time of the month is to blame for at least part of the gain.

Besides which, I know that even if I haven't lost weight, I've done my best - and that is all I can ask of myself.

I had a gain as well, I feel your disappointment, Lindsay.

You are on the right track, though, with the calorie range and all, so just stay the course... We'll get there in the end.

Slimleaf, I lose so slowely that I no longer use weight to measure my success. I figure I have had a successful week if I meert my food and exercise goals. How that works out to weight loss is beyond my control so I try not to focus on it. Based upon your goals I would say you have had a great week! emoticon

I am disappointed in the numbers on the scale as well but I look in the mirror and I see my sides gettin smaller. I have tried my best and have gone to the fitness center. Keep your head up.

Yay, Lindsay! Not yay for the weight gain, but YAY for not throwing a tantrum and giving up! Your weight gain is temporary and as long as you are doing the right things you will eventually achieve the desired results! Just be patient and keep up the good work!

I'm sorry you're disappointed, but you're right. If you did your best, that's an accomplishment in itself. Good for you to stay in ranges. I know that is a challenge, so congrats on that! emoticon emoticon emoticon
