Exercise Blog - day 1 - Saturday 5/25/13

Doing this as an assignment for my hypnotherapist! I am walking every day now, for 30 minutes at a 3.5 mph pace (17 minute mile), without my dog. (I walk him separately - I need one walk where I don't have to stop for him to smell the roses, and other things!) I am thinking of this like brushing my teeth: I do it every day, period. Yes, it's a choice I make, but not a "should I do this or not" choice; it is just something I choose to do daily because it makes me feel good. It's the right thing. i felt good after my walk today. I walked in the rain; it wasn't too heavy, I had my raincoat on, and I must say I really enjoyed it. I felt refreshed even during the walk. Who says the rain is bad weather? It helps plants to grow; it can help me too.
