Why are men and women so different?

Saturday, May 25, 2013

So I am actually trying to lose weight and get in shape and I swear that no matter what, the scale is either not moving or going the wrong way. My husband, on the other hand, is not actively trying to lose, instead is eating what he wants, although he skips breakfast, drinks beer and eats junk food and has lost weight. He is currently making himself two sandwiches for lunch!! What gives? I'm almost tempted to go his route.

Any thoughts?

I feel your pain! LOL! Men just have naturally higher metabolisms. I think it's completely unfair how my 7-yr-old son can eat more than me and I can still see his ribs, but he's still growing so it's understandable. It's just one of those things we have to live with.

We are just different and life isn't fair that way but that is just the way it is.
Just remember that eating healthy has so many more benefits than just losing weight. With my recent health scare, I know the value of good health and will do anything to eat right and exercise to keep good health. So don't just look at the weight loss but the habits you are forming for life to be all you can be.....a vibrant healthy person.
Besides you know you feel better when your fuel your body with good food.
    Enjoy the week end.
