making progress without deprivation

I loved TIME2BLOOM4ME's blog today. It gave me so many ways to measure progress besides the 16 pounds I have lost since February.
I eat scarce amounts of mucus producing foods and lots of foods that eliminate it. I eat TNF bananas. I practice the practice of happy people.
It really does make a difference to be focused on health. I dont feel like Im in a program so much as not wandering in a fog. Intentional eating means putting some effort into choosing healthy foods.
The difference between now and last winter was during my last contract, I fed when hungry, but planned very little. Next contract starting in two weeks, It can go two ways......
I am excited for the opportunity to do this one better.
