for real! If you are like me...a self admitted fitness freak and STILL chunky, you might wanna ask a few questions.
1. How do you eat
2. How much do you eat
3. What do you eat
4. How intense is your cardio
5. How much do you EAT emoticon

I needed to stop sabotaging my good workouts! I also needed to up my intensity! During my marathon training I gained weight and would run a steady pace every training run! I was afraid to get injured! But now? I am doing sprints and even doing some HIIT on the Row machine. whew emoticon

I also started to eat less this week! And guess what? I lost almost 3 pds! What?! I know right?
I wore my shorty shorts to the gym! And my gut is getting smaller!

Something about wearing my Army 10miler tee got me motivated for my squats!

last set 175 6xs! what?!!!


Yep, you cannot out train a bad diet and this week proved it to me! I am motivated!!!!

    get it girl! i ask myself all those questions all the time - and since i started working out like a freak, i eat better because who the hell wants to do all that and kill it with food lol

    Great point. Thanks so much for posting this blog.
It has really raised a few questions, as far as my "diet/eating plan" goes.

I am starting Paleo a/k/a "the caveman diet" on June 1. Which is pretty much eating like our ancestors ate, just eating on what they could hunt and gather. I am cutting out sweets, everything white..... rice, potatos, bread(even wheat), ect. I can't eat, or drink, dairy (or I eat very little of it) because I am lactose intolerant, but not even the littlest amount of cheese, which I have acquired a taste for, I am cutting out.

Have you heard of the book "It Starts With Food"? That is a great book. Goes into this concept. Check their page out:

    Look at your squat form!!! Well, it sounds like you won this week. The past 2 days have been horrible portion size days for me. Healthy food. Just too too much. What is wrong with me?!
Now you've got me motivated. Today my food choices will be clean and little!!!

    You got low, honey!! You are so right. I am also a fitness freak but I love to eat. Growing up in some cultures, food is everywhere for everything and it is usually fried, breaded, salted or sweet. I am an addict! Then I have a couple of SparkFriends who started at the same time as me at pretty much the same height and weight and they have lost about 20 more pounds than me and they don't even workout. They are militant about their diet. On the flip side, working out gives your body shape and contour, so we will look smaller than most folks our weight. And you look awesome!
