Keeping our minds on our goals

Saturday, May 25, 2013

I was just blabbing away in a message, and thought hey - I should share that wider than with just one person! & get my points for blogging too while I'm at it. & read it again myself!!!

Sharing thoughts with each other is one of the nice things about SP! Some things may help, some things may not ... but anything that keeps our minds on the goal, and might help us get off our tushes!

Track everything, and keep yourself honest! Even if you don't share the data - put it all in there. Tonight, I thought I completely had a 'cheat' day - but lo and behold, as I recorded that god awful dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings... found out I actually chose quite well! Sandwich & Buffalo chips, actually netted less than a salad - and for a cheat meal, could not have been more satisfying LOL So yeah, even tho' you might think you made poor choices - analyzing it can actually put your mind at ease!

Of course, that put me a bit over my calorie range... so I popped in Just Dance 4 to make up for it :)

That's exactly why I track everything. Just when you think you have a good sense of what's "good" and "bad" you learn something completely different.

Finally getting enough sleep - my body finally showed some progress on the scale! Yay!

Now I can go shopping (Chrissy & we need food & treats!) and feel good about it! Then, come home to get my exercise mowing - glad it's a high of like 68 today - should make that much more bearable!

Isn't that amazing? The times you are most afraid to track and realize that you really did ok? emoticon

I agree that you have to be honest with yourself when doing this. It is the only way you can keep yourself accountable!
