So, after writing my last blog about being back in the 120's, I started thinking about maintenance again. I wandered into several calorie calculator sites. Every last one of them told me to maintain my weight, I have to eat 1650 calories a day.
I guarantee that if I ate 1650 calories a day, I would continue to lose weight. How do I know?
Because I pretty much eat 1650 calories a day NOW...and I lose weight.
Whoever designed these calculators needs to readjust their numbers, because I know that for me, maintenance is going to look more like 1650-2000 calories a day. I guess I'll just have to trust my own instincts, keep an eye on my scale, and listen to my body.
