Starting over

Well the depression hit and it hit big time. I gained 20 lbs and am just now coming out of it and joining the world again. Today I said I'd just track my food to get an idea of how much I've been eating. It's barely 4pm and I'm over 2000 calories. And I'm probably going to eat dinner.

So I have to try very hard not to eat after 7.Get back on track by drinking tea and exercising. I could barely manage 5 minutes on the bike today.I'm not going to beat myself up. This is a setback but I'm beginning to see the light. Plus I just finished classes and I have plans which involve me being in shape. So here I go again.

    It's definitely not easy when you are depressed...I've been feeling it all day. Have not exercised one bit. However, I didn't really overeat too much, which I think is only on account of not having any food in the house...

    5 minutes on the bike is a great start! Don't let the time fool you!

    Add a minute every couple of days and soon you will be biking for 30 minutes!

    The fact that you know how many calories you are eating is important, so just take today to take it all in. Sometimes you need that one day to see where you are at, and today is one of those days.

    I once ate TWO BIG MACS in one meal! That is a whole day's worth of calories! It happens. Just keep trying, each meal is a great time to start!

    Keep trying, don't give up. NEVER beat yourself up about it. You are awesome for starting over, it isn't easy!
