Saw ENT and doing well.

Friday, May 24, 2013

My ENT said my ear is healing nicely and not too worry. He sched. an hearing test for me at the end of June. Hopefully all will be OK and my hearing will return to its normalcy. Since I have had some hearing lost over the years due to ageing and too much "Rock & Roll" aka loud music. I know it will not be perfect but hopefully I will not have lost anymore hearing than what is normal for my age. Keep my fingers crossed.
The inside of the house is just about completed and today the guys and a few of my hubby's friends are working on the backyard. Jeff rented a rototiller and they all took turns turning the dirt.
We finally found a great spot under the tree to put Lucy Dogs ashes ( she has been gone over 3 yrs now and I miss her everyday). It was a favorite spot of her's to lie about in the back yard. I had won a nice doggy urn from a home show here in town. It is natural and earth friendly. You can use these for people too and they decorate them with any design. They can be used in water where they degrade in under an hour, and in soil in about 2 - 3 months. Lucy's had cute lite brown doggy paw prints all over it. It was a nice day to bury my favorite dog.
Got to go ear some lunch and get some housework done.

So glad you are healing well. Hoping for a good report in June. You lost Lucy about the time we lost Angel. Our hearts still ache for her even with our 2 rescues to take some of the sorrow away. Take care and follow Dr's. orders!!

Sounds like you will be okay with your ear!
That is special you will have a place for Lucy near you.
We went the opposite way. They gave us Bendix's ashes sealed in a plain urn. As he was a dog happiest roaming in the off leash dog area, we wanted to scatter them over the spot where he flushed out the most wildlife to chase. Got to admit, the first try they were unable to smash the urn and had to take it back home to try find a way in. I think my step dad took a sledge to it. So Mom and I went back with it and she scattered his ashes in his favorite place. She went home and I took a commemorative walk one last time, imagining Bendix romping beside me, going off to chase the odd critter, but always eventually returning to walk a spell with us. It was a gorgeous day. So miss his incredible energy and spirit.

Glad that you're under the care of an ENT for your ear. Nothing like having a specialist in the field. Hope that your hearing returns, too!
What a huge moment! The house almost done? Wonderful! I know that you are more than ready for that!
Awwww, so sweet that you got that urn for Lucy Dog. Perfect spot for her final resting place. Need LOTS of photos of the house, before and after! emoticon
