Panic! Can't find important papers that should be in the safety deposit box

Friday, May 24, 2013

I have looked for hours. All the while I was looking, I focused myself, by repeating continually, "I am looking for important papers. I am looking for important papers. I am looking for important papers...." NO LUCK!

I asked my daughter to guide me through a meditation to find these papers. She said she would not be good at that, but to look on ON DEMAND for a video. Well, I looked online --my way to research! I am turning to meditation about finding a lost item or items.
the internet has EVERYTHING!
The following is the method I found. I did not write this myself! emoticon

If you follow these tips, you'll greatly increase your chances of bringing what you've lost back to you. I've found all sorts of things (pens, keys, glasses, wallet) that reappeared in places I'd already checked after I followed these simple steps.

(1) Ground Yourself

It might seem that the hardest thing to do when you've just lost something is to relax... but it's also the most important. Your anxiety can and does create conflict in the physical world. By calming your mind and your heart, you will allow for harmony to manifest in the outside world. We ground our electrical appliances to prevent them from sparking and starting fires... and we need to do the same thing for our energetic bodies. You can ground yourself by visualizing a long cord running down from you, down below your feet, far into the core of the Earth. Imagine that all the worries and troubles that beleague you are falling down, down, down that cord, never to return.

(2) Hope for a Reality Shift

When my young daughter used to lose things, she would say, "Hope for reality shift! Hope for reality shift!" over and over again as she walked around the house. Her intention of allowing for her lost item to return (even to a place we'd already looked) helped make such a reunion possible. I now make sure that I say my intention out loud any time I've lost something that I dearly love and wish to find again. I know that it is possible for lost things to reappear in places I have thoroughly searched -- and even sometimes in very strange or unusual places. This intention is extremely important, because it gives the universe permission to return your lost item to you when you allow for a miraculous shift in reality to occur.

(3) Meditate

An easy meditation for finding lost things is based on breathing. As you exhale, imagine that you are breathing out all your worries and fears. As you inhale, imagine that you are breathing in love. You are letting go of any sense of panic or loss, and feeling more and more loving and loved. If you have another favorite meditation, this is a very good time to do it. The main idea now is to remain grounded as you relax further, while opening your mind and heart fully into experiencing whatever this moment brings.

(4) Feel Your Love for What is Lost

While all the previous steps are very important, feeling your love for what you have lost is undoubtedly the most important. While you continue staying grounded and breathing in love, remember all your favorite memories about what you've just lost. Allow yourself the luxury of feeling as much of that love as possible. Feel your heart growing warmer and warmer with those feelings of love. This love you are feeling is the bond between you and what has been lost, and by feeling your love as strongly as you can, you are calling what you love to return to you.

    This is great!

I do something similar(when I remember).

I calm down, breath deeply, start praying to God to please help me find the missing item and realize that this is not the end of the world.

I methodically start looking and voila! 9 times out of ten, there it is.
If I can't find it, I thing rationally on how to do with out it or replace it.

I am so blessed. I pray to the Lord when I cannot find things. Even to this day

beside my daily devotions daily and prayer for others. He is there for me or my

hubby when it comes to very important papers. Sooner or later to the last

second. It shows up. What I have loss.

My hubby and I were going on a bus trip to the U.S.A with the church group and

we had to have very important papers going across the boarders even his paper of

Holland. That is the one we needed. With his Dutch name. He was Canadian

citizen but wherever we go. The authorities want this one certain paper. Even

when we went on the cruise ship.

At that time we were going to see an American Minister back then. Billy Graham.

I guess I fast fingered fingered through five important files in file boxes. I

looked at the clock. We

had 45

minutes before we had to go. To me the clock was ticking.

All of a sudden sticking on the side of the one file box which I went through but must of panicked first time searching the second time was this corner of his

greenish paper. I pulled it up. There it was. Oh Thank you Lord. We then put

everything I had out of some file boxes back in as quick as we could. . Then

threw the file boxes in the one closet. Thank goodness my house was all cleaned

and dishes done up to go..

We were liked showered already just had to slip on our nice clothes and we were

ready on the road to the bus terminal. And me saying on the way. Thank You Lord.

So praying for us always works. I hate the word works. He heard my desperate

plead. Lord Please. And again he met us near the very, very end . Even though it

was me that had went to fast looking and I had missed first time.

To -this day I have all important papers and medical papers at hand.

So yes. Do not panick and relax. My thing now is time is on my side when you

have the Lord and I had prayed. So why was I in such a panick. How silly of me.

I have learned from that. Ask, have faith and let go and let God.

"A place for everything and everything in its place" sounds so pedantic, we should all be better than that. I'm sure not. I put my keys and pocketbook and cell phone in one place only to avoid that panic of not being able to find them. If only your papers could ring when you called them, like a phone.

Well, lost items are always found in the last place you look - because once you find them you stop looking! The reason we often miss seeing something but find it when we look again is that our mind plays tricks on us, distorting reality and not allowing us to see what's really right in front of us. That's why we can freak out looking for an item and an hour later after we've given up and gone on to do something else we suddenly see it sitting right in front of us, swearing it wasn't there before - it was, but our brains were unable to register that it was there because we were looking for it, not seeing it. It's like a word search puzzle - once you find where a word is hiding you can look away and do something else for an hour, only to come back and find it instantly because you're seeing it, not looking for it.

As for your papers, I can't tell you how to find them, but I can say that in the future you may want to make a habit of always putting important things in a specific area and never letting it leave that area for more than a moment without returning it. You might also consider getting a scanner and keeping a scan of it in an 'important documents' folder on the computer desktop so you always know where to find it and it can never be lost.

I hope you find them soon! I have two things that sometimes help. First, try standing on a chair and announcing specifically what you are looking for. Sometimes the different perspective, both emotional and being a few feet taller, helps you see things differently. Second, if there is something that I can't find after having looked and looked, I decide that it must be "hidden". By that I mean it must be under a piece of paper or magazine, put away in the middle of an incorrect file, and so on. If I start looking for something that is "hidden" I tend to search for it differently than I do for something I think is in plain sight, and often manage to locate it rather quickly! Good luck! emoticon

My grandmother successfully used the Ouija board to find her lost diamonds when all else failed. I imagine the four steps you so clearly described were not so consciously used but used nonetheless in my grandmother's method and it was those very things that allowed her to find what was lost.

Sorry that you are going through a difficult time. It must be very difficult for your husband to accept that he is becoming weaker and needs more help. I hope that you find the papers that you are looking for, and that the days in rehab will help make your husband stronger.

I think the relaxation helps, because I usually find things 1) where I've looked before but not very thoroughly, besides I thought I knew the color of it, so I was looking for a specific size and color (and was wrong), so I found it underneath where I'd looked before; 2) I was stressed so I just overlooked it right in front of me; 3) I had forgotten that I'd moved it to a totally different (abnormal) place.

So, I hope you found the lost.
It is VERY irritating to not be able to find anything that YOU know you put in a safe place where when you need it next time it will be right there. Then you can remember where 'there' is... been there done that... and once I relaxed ... there it is right in plain sight..
Good luck.
