Work is a ghost town today. I like it, although I'm having trouble focusing. I like the relaxed atmosphere. I'm currently wearing pants that were too tight to wear a few months ago. I will be honest, they're still snug in the hips, but my shirt covers that part and I feel good wearing them because it's the effort it took to get myself back in them.

As I said in my last blog I have 1.3 pounds to go before i'm back to where I lost my focus last summer/fall. I'm excited for that.

Tonight I have to go to a party that I don't really want to go to, but it doesn't start until 8. I am opting to not eat with everyone there at the restaurant. I'm going to eat dinner before I leave and just get a drink. I'd rather not eat pub food and I'd rather not eat that late.

Also since I can't walk my dog as much today I plan on walking at lunch if the rain holds off. I'm trying to keep getting those steps in

Tomorrow I'm cleaning and getting ready for my BBQ on Sunday with the other couple. I'm trying to keep it as healthy as possible, So hopefully that works. The menu is burgers with all the trimmings, pasta salad, tomato salad, veggies & dip, and brownie sundaes I'm substituting the oil in the brownies with applesauce and I'm getting light ice cream. Knowing me I'll hide flaxseed in them too.

Then I get Monday and Tuesday off (I'm usually off on Mondays so now I get Tuesday) Monday I have no plans but to enjoy being with the boy. Then on Tuesday he's taking me to see Epic, which I'm so excited for! This is what has inspired my blog... I thought I'd share my popcorn trick. I make plain air popped popcorn. I put it in a freezer bag about 3 cups each. Then when I get to the theater, we buy a small popcorn and put half in each freezer bag shake to blend and have a lot lower calories and still delicious movie popcorn (I never get the extra butter though).

I'm excited for my weekend, I just have to get through today. I hope everyone stays safe and has a blast wherever they may be doing this weekend!

    You're sounding so upbeat & positive - great attitude! Enjoy your plans sound like good fun - just be careful at the BBQ that you don't lose track of what you eat, always my downfall esp when everything's laid out and you spend the afternoon/evening socialising and picking at food :-)

Can't wait to hear at your next weigh in you've gotten rid of that last 1.3lbs of regained weight - so soon you will be on to losing fresh weight & you'll feel so good for that!
