My Day With Chad

Friday, May 24, 2013

Chad is 12 and looking at things through his eyes is so much fun. As we are walking he just points and shoots the camera every were and any were. I put the pictures he took on his computer before I left and the took them off my camera not to smart cause now I can not show you what he did. Here is Chad when we first started our walk showing off for the camera:
Seeing him like having his picture taken is so cool cause a few years ago he was always saying please don't take my picture. I always respected that cause I love taking pictures but hate having my picture taken. Now he ask me to take his picture and posed for me.
Here are some of the things we seen on our walk my picture but through Chad's eyes:
I have to admit I don't think I would have even taken this picture if Chad had not started taking picture of the sap dripping. I am always to busy looking for birds, butterflies, and flowers. Here are some things we seen along the pond:

Chad took this picture of me:

Chad use my point and shoot to take his pictures until the battery died and then he took over my Nikon. While using the point and shoot he showed me some features I did not know about and here is one.

Yesterday was my blog about my walk with Emily and she is 16 and we had a great time, this blog is with Chad and it was so nice to see their different personalities. I love them both for who they are.

Isn't it great to spend individual time with our grandchildren. I remember when Chad was dodging the camera. It wasn't that long ago. I'm glad he's outgrowing that.
It's always good to look at life through another pair of eyes.
Thanks for sharing.

I love that you spent individual time with each of your grandkids. I have 7 with two more on the way and sometimes I am torn with trying to get some time with each of them. I have 2 grands 70 miles a way, 2 grands 300 miles away, and 3 grands 1500 miles away. I cannot think of anything more fun then spending time with them.

Another awesome blog! I just love how Chad has really become his "own" in the last year. He's always been such a sweet boy, but to see him really come out of his shell has been great. Yes, he loves the camera now, doesn't he? I can't wait, because even at the beginning of the school year he didn't! So this years "back to school" pictures should be GREAT!! A smiling Chad and Emily, can you imagine? HAHAHA!

Glad you and Chad had such a good time together. I like the sap dripping tree...very cool! And you know I love the picture of him with the bush, cracks me up!
