I AM grumpy and I reckon it's my lack of sugar. But despite The Grumpies I feel great, it almost feels relieving to let go of sugar for now, to be able to say NO to all them sugary things, no exceptions.... okay, except honey, honey will be my only exception. I decided to not have sweets (lollies, gummy bears, jelly snakes and the like), chocolate (any kind, white, milk or dark), soda (I'm off soda for the last 23 days already, but it also means I will stop drinking a homemade elderflower syrup, which I mix with bubbly water and ends up tasting like lemonade... I will miss that a LOT), desserts, bikkies, cookies, and also, my newly found evening treat baileys.... sigh.
I will fill up with fruit, veggies, salty air-popped popcorn, crackers, cheese, yogurt and have a glass of juice with dinner....
I also decided to write down something I'm grateful for every single day. There are SO many things and reasons to BE absolutely and completely grateful and thankful for and I reckon first and most of all I'm so grateful to my Lord and Saviour Jesus. Where would I be without my faith??
