OMG! Fast food experience

Yesterday I had a lunch at Jersey Mike's. I had a "mini" veggie sub, baked chips, and a diet soda. Imagine my shock when I realized I ate 600 calories in the sandwich alone. Thank goodness I chose the baked chips.

I did record it, so yay about that. It will be a while before I choose that sandwich again!

    I've had that happen before. You try to go for the 'healthy' option but it's still an enormous calorie bomb!

    Yes, it is amazing how many calories we find hiding in what is supposed to be ''good for us.' This can be especially true in items advertised as healthy, low-calorie, or in some aspect good for you.

    I've been surprised too, probably more than I should be. I just track it and make whatever adjustments I need to for the rest of the day.
