OMG! Fast food experience

Friday, May 24, 2013

Yesterday I had a lunch at Jersey Mike's. I had a "mini" veggie sub, baked chips, and a diet soda. Imagine my shock when I realized I ate 600 calories in the sandwich alone. Thank goodness I chose the baked chips.

I did record it, so yay about that. It will be a while before I choose that sandwich again!

I've had that happen before. You try to go for the 'healthy' option but it's still an enormous calorie bomb!
Well done for still tracking it : )

Yes, it is amazing how many calories we find hiding in what is supposed to be ''good for us.' This can be especially true in items advertised as healthy, low-calorie, or in some aspect good for you.

I've been surprised too, probably more than I should be. I just track it and make whatever adjustments I need to for the rest of the day.

It's amazing how many calories they can pack into a sandwich. Good job on recording it!
