Cycling training.

Back in January 1, I registered for the local MS Bike Tour. I have ridden it 6 times in the past, but missed last year because I was too busy dealing with my son's health.

I feel very behind on preparing for the tour as far as training is concerned. I don't know where the time has slipped away to. Late spring where I live, bad weather, busy life, and other excuses have kept me off the bike. Now there is only a couple of weeks left.

This evening was a howling wind, raining, and cold, but having signed up for SparkPeople I wanted to register a fitness activity for the day.

Thanks to this extra motivation, I pulled on my wool sweater, rain gear, and gloves, and hit the road for a 20km training ride.

Funny thing was, once I got out there pedaling, the weather just did not seem so rough, and the road felt good beneath the wheels.

Thanks SparkPeople for pushing me a little to get out there.

    Been there, done that...! There is potent magic that happens when we get on our bikes! Woo hoo to YOU! :-)

A few years back I did the MS 175 in Cherry Hill, NJ...what a special ride that was! We did 100 miles the first day and 75 the second.
