I ran errands all day today. Which is great! Especially as I'm not currently driving -- the entire set of errands was done by bike!
Problem is, I didn't plan for how much exercise it truly was, cycling all across town and back. So, I packed neither food nor water. Meaning, when I got home at long last -- I ate half a block fo cheese! Which more than doubled my calorie total for today.
Next time, snacks come with me on the bike -- even if I think I'm just going for "one short ride" - !
