First steps

Do you remember your first steps as an infant? No, it is an age where we begin to develop trust in our caregiver. As that trust grows, we try hard to take that first step. Yes, it does take a long time but every time we try, we do it better and better.

Now think of the first time you wanted to lose weight and failed. Did you give up? What if we had given up on walking as an infant? So, if you fail, try taking that step again and again!! We will all prevail as we continue to meet our goals, what ever they are. I have failed several times, but when I found SparkPeople, I learned that is okay to miss a step as long as I start trying the next day. It may take you a long time or a short time but what is so wonderful is we are trying and we will succeed!!

This is what SparkPeople is about! So, hurrah for every day you take that first step!!

    Baby steps! It took a life time to develop bad habits. It probably won't change overnight but each time we take another step towards better health, the closer we get to achieving our goals.
