One thing I am working on is being Mindful and being Present while I eat. I have for years never really tasted my food.I have chewed once or twice if lucky and quickly gulped it down.I am / make that was always the first one done. I can really suck it down.
My Past eating experiences.. I had too many of these to count.
So as I am working on this Mindful and Present eating .. I have gone a quest of sort to learn to enjoy the taste of my food again.. so what would that entail..

This is a place loaded with fresh , color, flavor.. find a local Farmers Market.. support local whenever I can . .so much fresher and healthy
I need to change how I eat..
I need to be sitting at the table .. without the distraction of the T.V. or the computer.It is so easy to gulp my food down at these places without even thinking about one single bite.. ON auto pilot totally disengaged from the food experience and yet I claim to love food. I don't treat it very well.
Now while I am at the table.. How about putting that fork down. Chewing my food.. I have no idea what chewing is.. I should just suck it down a straw for all the chewing I do.

So I am trying to be Mindful and Present while Eating .. To enjoy food.. I always said I did , but I didn't really give it my best effort.
I want to eat to live not live to eat .. I have to become more Mindful to do that.
