A Few of My Favorite Things

Thursday, May 23, 2013

Raindrops on rooftops DH without whiskers
My teapot collection and warm cozy kitchen
Forget-me-not flowers that bloom in the spring
These are a few of my favorite things . . .

Cream that is low cal and gluten free strudel
Foods high in fiber, and fish for my noodle
Oranges and strawberries make my heart sing
These are a few of my favorite things . . .

Playing with grandkids or playing some mahjong
Sewing or crafting or writing a new song
Exchanging some notes with my Spark People friends
These are a few of my favorite things. . .

When the knees ache, when the scale's broke (?)
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad!

Yes! The original was one of the many songs I'd sing with my kids before bed..a lot of oldies, church or theater, but the love of other oldies and theater toward them....Then play some sonatinas on piano after prayers and tuck ins....thanks....

And I love your version!
