I finally got back to Zumba last Thursday night for our toning class. My instructor is changing things up, so the toning class is not really Zumba Toning anymore, but rather a lot more toning. It is good, and we were all feeling it the next day. The next day (Friday) I biked to work, because it was National Bike to Work Day. So yea, I was a little sore for the weekend, but that's ok!
I had to work Monday and Tuesday night, so no class then. Got back to my Wed Zumba class last night. It was warm, and I know I haven't been keeping up with my water intake, so it kicked my butt. Need to get my water bottles ready so when I'm out running errands, I have plenty of water with me, and thus no excuse!
The last few weeks have been busy getting ready for the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis. The Honolulu walk is Saturday. Its going to be an early morning - I have to be at the park by 7:30 am with all the stuff I have (8 cases of water, 3 boxes of t-shirts, 3 totes of other supplies, and all the snacks for 250 people). My girlfriend will be meeting me at 7 that morning at my building so we can get my Prius and her truck loaded up. I know everything will work out fine for the walk, but there are definitely things that could have been done differently. We're already looking ahead to next year and the things we're going to do differently.
Today I have a doctors appointment for my birth control shot - so I'm up early. Have to pick up the prescription, get breakfast and get the shot. I have the Toning class tonight, so between my doctors appointment and Toning, I have to get more stuff done for the walk. The end is near for that stuff! Then I can reclaim my house! There *should* only be 3 totes coming back to the house.
