Had to postpone the mani/ pedi for yesterday as cold and nasty returned here with a vengeance. We are back to 40 and rain. It was 83 the beginning of the week. That is Wisconsin for you..the home of Winter and Summer. Today is going to be a day for me. I was going to do the mani and pedi today however 40 and rain is not conducive to wearing sandals. So, I am postponing it to next week. I am going to get my hair cut and dyed.
DH is off for the next 4 days and we really don't have much planned which is nice. Tomorrow, I am hoping to get out to ride JC and same with Sunday. Monday we are having my SIL and BIL over for a BBQ. We only BBQ with 96% lean ground beef and Turkey brats :)
I am really paying attention to what I eat. I even learned you can eat healthy at Maggiano's. Who knew?
The pain from the second epidural has pretty much gone away. My neck is much better. Still waiting to see what happens with my lower back. I did order a body pillow which they told me to do. So I am hoping that helps.
I have found that walking Summer is quite the workout, but it is also not good for my back. She pulls an awful lot and, in the house, she tends to forget her commands. I decided that Summer needs to go to manners class. I also thought it would be good for the kids so we all do the exact same thing with her. If that works well, we will put her in the class after that which adds in distractions. G-d forbid she see a squirrel or a rabbit. Not to mention the cats in the house. My little cat has taken to chasing and attacking her and Summer thinks she is playing lol. Roxie doesn't use her claws on Summer. Summer is very lucky. Fonzie the 6 year old cat just hides in the closet when Summer is up and about.
Syd is pretty much the same although she does like her walks now. We don't go very far just down the block a little ways. We have decided that Sydney is now in assisted living. We assist her up the stairs and down the stairs. It is weird. It is like her brain can't tell her back paws where the next step is. So, we just hold onto her thighs behind and guide her up the stairs. We make sure she doesn't fall down the stairs like a slinky. We have tried to keep her downstairs, but she has a fit. If she is having a really hard time, my son carries her upstairs. So much for quiet at the Kraus House lol
Had a closing yesterday and 4 more coming up in June.
My fitbit Aria said I lost 10 lbs :) I think my doc will be happy with that.
