Self Motivation

Thursday, May 23, 2013

I didn't have any this morning. After hitting it hard for the last three days I am just physically pooped. Today was a run day and I just couldn't bring myself to it. Ugh! then I read the Best of Sparkpeople. They had an article this morning on motivating yourself when no one else will. I think that is all I needed. I am ready to get my exercise in. Too bad i wasted the time by twittling away my morning. I guess I will have to find a way to get in my run this afternoon, which rarely happens because life just gets too busy, but we shall see. They say where there is a will, there is a way. If the run doesn't happen, I can concentrate on getting in 15,000 steps instead. My average steps per day are about 11,500. Adding in a walk to hubby's office will do me a world of good today!
Hope you all have an amazing Thursday!

Keep Sparking!

Good for you: you found the resource to help . . . and then blogged about it to help the rest of us!

Way to get back that motivation! We all have those days! It's nice when you can find a way to get it back right away. Good luck getting your run it later today.

I was in a similar situation. I am going to read 3 Years and 153 Pounds Later. That should give me the impetus I need. Thank goodness for SP for picking us up when we are down. Exercise and good eating are things that will always be there for us, we just have to avail ourselves of it. Glad you're feeling better.
