emoticon I LOVE smart women! It's great being surrounded by so many of them here in Sparkland! Not only smart, but encouraging, gracious, sharing, and nurturing!

What BETTER friends could we ever aspire for? emoticon

Seriously...if I ever hit the 'big one' aka lotto...I'm flying you ALL down here to sunny SW FL and we will get a block of rooms at the Ritz...and TEAR it UP! emoticon emoticon emoticon from sunrise emoticon to long after sundown! emoticon With a few POWER naps thrown in for good nature...gotta maintain our health ya know! emoticon emoticon

Here's Martha Beck's inspiration for the day:

"You must befriend, protect, and nurture your own spirit. This means paying attention to your real needs, treating yourself not just fairly but kindly, and standing up for yourself even if that displeases people around you. Just as a run-down body may be unable to conceive a healthy new life, a run-down soul can’t support the healthy development of the life you were meant to have."

Isn't she BEYOND brilliant...and isn't that EXACTLY what we little sparklers need to hear first thing to start our mornings off today?

I love Martha Beck, I first discovered her through Oprah and then she had her own column in Oprah magazine...maybe she still does. She's written several INSPIRING books and she is a BUSY, BUSY lady!

Speaking of...I have a crazy overbooked day ahead of me at the consignment gallery, have to get a couple of contracts e-mailed, lots of rearranging for new items coming in, a few sales to get deliveries scheduled. I'm giving the hubs the morning off since he's covered for me two days this week! Isn't he the BEST? I'm also working on rehabbing a cool old antique secretary with what else....leopard print?

Then when the day is over will meet with a girlfriend and go over to another girlfriends new condo where she is cooking us a nice home cooked meal. What could be better?

The hubs will be okay with left overs. I wish he did more things with his men friends. Men just don't seem to have the 'mingle' gene that we females do. When I do things with my girlfriends I feel a little guilty...but he says he likes his 'down' time with the cat...so all~righty then! emoticon

I'm working hard on my Teddy Bear Challenge so off to the treadmill as soon as Fiona Fitbit gets recharged while I'm sparking!

Take care dear friends...and remember Martha's inspiration...it's a GREAT one! emoticon emoticon
