Sense of accomplishment - can you feel it?

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I've been here before. I've done this. And I've been successful. But one memory was shrouded by all the greatness that I was experiencing...all the blood, sweat, and tears that had to go into RESULTS. I've been back in the game for the past few weeks and am easily remembering how much work this takes. Willpower when you feel like you want to indulge, the pep talks to self when you'd rather lye around, and the pure commitment to consciousness needed to accomplish each change.

Writing all that makes this weight loss journey seem daunting and almost off putting. But you know what? It's actually opposite of that. Although it does require honest, hard work, it also brings great feelings of accomplishment. It's so easy to fall into habits but it takes dedication to be honest and take steps to get healthy. Each little change is a success that makes you feel exhilarated and that this is possible...I'M POSSIBLE.

With these thoughts, I hope each of you recognize your successes and are able to enjoy that same sense of accomplishment in your journey.
