I like water. I really do. But sometimes it's just not enough.
These past two days, I have really wanted some soda. It's primarily the carbonation, not really the beverage itself, so I'm going to have to look into some sparkling water. But drinking soda inhibits my ability to meet my 8 cups a day. Now I know that I'm getting fluid by drinking soda, but it's not the same. It's not as nourishing for my body.
That's one benefit I really enjoyed the first time around. My skin looked amazing with all the water I was drinking. I felt better overall. I'd like to get back to that, but I know it's going to take more than what I'm doing now.
I pinned a website a while ago that gave some recipes for making flavored water via fruit and/or herb infusion. I tried the citrus one. It was good at first, but it got pretty potent, so I didn't drink it as much. I'm going to make my own concoction with some fruit we have in our fridge: strawberry watermelon. I hope it's amazing because it sounds good, haha.
