I haven't done a proper weigh in yet today but I hopped on the scales and they are looking good for a half kilo loss down to 79kg's which i'm happy with. i had a bit of a food blow out last night and an anniversary dinner on monday night which was a heavy pasta meal so its an unexpectedly positive result on the scales. but i'm happy with it.
i've been walking more the last two weeks. still trying to talk myself into morning walks / runs. i'm wondering if going walking in my work clothes could be a goer to avoid 2 changes of clothes in the morning (3 if you include my pyjamas!!)?
a downside is that i don't think my measurements are changing much. i have to do my measurements tonight so i'll check my check in graphs there but i'm sure my pants aren't any looser! and i really want them to be. i've been noticing some consistent reactions to eating dairy and grains with them causing bloating. i'm trying to read my way through a kindly donated paleo recipe book from a friend to work out meal alternatives. my biggest brain hurdle is still breakfast. i don't think i'll have too much trouble with lunch and dinner as i already have almost all protein and veg for lunch and dinner. not too many grains or dairy there. i'll also need to try out some variety in dinner recipes and see if my other half likes any. very fussy eater! (sooo annoying!)
i'm off to the gym tomorrow too. i'm still only averaging once per week but that's better than zero. i do feel that to get my moneys worth i do need to make an effort to go at least twice per week.
